The shit is definitely going to hit the fan, so best get it over with. Unfortunately somebody in early pregnancy is experiencing big hormone upsets and is often not in a good place to deal with parents going off the deep end. Mothers handle it better, fathers go off the deep end a lot, but they usually do with everything else anyway.

Be a friend to your friend and support her as much as you can, she's going to be needing it in the coming month a lot.
