I like it when you cup my face with your hands when you kiss me, because I've never felt safer. I like it when you hold me tight when we make love and when you lose control because of me, because then I know you still need me. I'm scared of the day you notice that I can't really keep up with you and you'll see that I've got no place in your world. I love you so much even if it hurts sometimes, and even if we don't fit together and even if I know that I have to leave before your world destroys me.

You're his best friend. You've been mine once. I love him. But sometimes it's you I think about at night. Even though you're a girl and straight. Even though I hate you sometimes. Yes, I do want you. Half of what I said that day was to see whether you'd be defensive. Thank goodness, I was right.
