Social media censorship is a joke now. Liberals have long campaigned for drug policy reform, but Ive noticed increasingly that left run tech companies are censoring any searches with drug terms in them. I was bored and typed in the name of my anxiety medication ( a benzodiazepine controlled substance) in facebook search to see if anyone else I know has ever posted about it. Instead of being shown results, I just got some message about "if you are struggling with opioid....bla bla bla" klonopin isnt even an opioid. It used to be so bad that even googling the name of the medication prompted a message of "Help is Available" like Im some drug addict. I made a single comment on a single post in the MensRight subreddit and got banned from other subreddits by a bot because I "participated in an "incel" community". I never said anything sexist or bad....just replied to a post that I think was suggested in my feed. I made exactly one comment in that subreddit the entire time I have had the reddit account. Cancel culture has gotten out of hand. People are tired of it and they are also tired of still dealing with the economic impact covid restrictions had (benefitted the rich and hurt the working class). The right has changed but so has the left. I feel like they have nothing to offer me. They will promise healthcare reform and benefits to the working class and then turn around and advocate for hiring black women over me just because I happen to be born white and male.

I care about women's right to abortion but it is ridiculous to expect a single man to base their vote on an issue that doesnt affect them. Personally I care about more freedom of speech and less regulation of social media (direct or indirect (threat of lawsuits for allowing "dangerous speech").

This election clearly showed that the democrats went wrong somewhere.

If you'd been paying attention instead of shitting all over the Democrats and left-wing supporters, you'd know that Meta (owner of Facebook and Instagram) is removing their restrictive content that they implemented in the late 2010s. They're allowing more freedom of speech, they're not going to be flagging content that could be harmful or spread fake news. This will create more issues not for any party in particular, but it will allow users to be bullied, it will allow content that are dangerous including depiction of terrorism, it will allow women to be treated like an object instead of actual human beings.

I understand it feels annoying that they're only hiring POCs for me it's annoying that they're not hiring the 'invisible' minorities. People with mental health issues and those who have other disabilities such as deafness or autism. We're the ones that are being ignored while the world continues on with the 'woke' movement — or whatever it's called in 2025 — and it continues to be ok to ridicule or appropriate disabled individuals such as putting able-bodied people in the role of a wheelchair-bound person or creating TikToks ridiculing a cane user falling on their face after losing their balance. What the fuck about us?[/size]
