Hi Lydia, I'm so sorry for the late response. Diabetes can affect vision, but it sounds like you're doing everything right to manage it. As Dawn said before, if the doctors aren't concerned then you shouldn't be either.
For me, when I get extremely tired, my vision goes in and out of focus like you're adjusting the manual focus on a digital camera. It means I need to go to bed and the vision will be fine in the morning once I've slept.
If it continues to be a concern, then I would talk to your primary care physician about this, let them know you had a diabetic eye exam and everything came back normal there. Hopefully they'll be able to come up with some options to treat the blurry vision.
It might just be that you need to spend less time in front of screens and get better sleep.
