Hi Danni, you created this thread months ago and I hope things have resolved themselves. I'll really share this for anyone who lurks here.
Marriage doesn't have to be the end-game, especially if they really care about one another and want to spend time together. Sometimes, there are even benefits to not getting married, such as being able to keep your own name and, if you're on disability for example, you get to keep your benefits.
If things didn't work out and you've parted ways since creating this thread, then I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you're able to find someone.
