The elves love your enthusiasm, but they say there's one more thing you need to do: write the nice and naughty list.
'Does it mean some children won't get any gifts?' you ask. The elves reply that it's mostly a symbolic list, and it makes Santa happy to see that every year more and more children appear on the nice list. All the children will get something, even if they have been a little naughty.
