I didn't pick up a shift because

A: I've worked 5 days straight (for one day off) and going in would've made it 8

B: The fact that you can't seem to schedule people appropriately, and that we can't get new hires isn't my problem

C: Maybe this will make you appreciate me a little more. If you want to complain literally every time I do something, watch what happens when I'm not there at all. Because I always have the option to leave, and some of you seem to forget that.

Call me in next week when I'm barely scheduled, and we'll talk.

I overheard and its none of my business, but I'm sorry you won't get to see them when you thought you would. And I hope its not because of anything bad.
