If no one up front was helping you because they were insanely busy, I don't know why on Earth you thought screaming HELLO at me repeatedly at the top of your lungs would get you what you wanted. I didn't want to waste the energy or give you the satisfaction of yelling back at you, but ignoring you wasn't working and I wanted you to shut up.

There's more than one reason that won't work, but I also want to punish you a little. Make you appreciate me, so I have some leverage now that they're both leaving. You give me enough hours and if you don't, I'm not picking them up for you. Learn your lesson and treat me right the first time.
