It truly fascinates me how there are people like this in the world. But then I also work in an environment that has so many of them too.

In one instance, a gym member disliked that there were no classes on the timetable that she liked and claimed it was extremely unacceptable, so she literally emailed the CEO of the company. The CEO never read the email but it went all the way back down the management chain to our regional manager, whom felt that our range of classes were indeed, not good.

That same gym member then complained that the classes we then added to the timetable, weren't on at a suitable time for her. So she wrote to the CEO again. Classes were moved back by 15 minutes so she can arrive on time and take part.

That same gym member, yet again, complained that there were too many people in a single class (the studio fits a capacity of 23 people, we had a capacity of 18 spaces on the timetable). She threatened to go to the CEO again, bleating on about how she dislikes having anyone around her, and how her mum died of Covid (which she lied about)... all while standing less than 30 cm from the face part of one's face. Aka, 'I want to hog the space of 2 people and stretch out and behave like a queen bee'. We changed the capacity to 15 just to please her because she claimed she 'didn't feel safe'.

Except, this gym member didn't realise that our manager was an absolute crock of shizz. He never did his job and sat around doing squidly dot. She didn't care about any of that. All she cared about was turning up to her classes to get her 'work out' in that she would stand around and chat in the middle of, and barely put any effort into doing.

There are numerous gym members that spring to mind when it comes to people who think they're entitled to the world and have no care for other human beings.
