The only reason Earth supports 7 billion people now is because we have an agricultural economy that can sustain a large population. Humanity is no longer composed of a few thousand tribal members who can just eat off the land. We need to have an economy in order for people to eat. In order to have an economy, we have to have a diverse set of jobs and potential occupations. How is that so hard for democrats to understand?
