A colleague I used to work with tested positive the day she was supposed to be getting her 2nd jab. It's definitely possible to catch it even with a vaccine and obviously it isn't 100% effective. This person got quite sick but avoided hospital and said to me that she feels the vaccine was the reason she was able to avoid being admitted.

I'd definitely say if you're worried it's worth getting a test done! If nothing else it can take it off of your mind in that you'll know for sure if it's just a cold.
