Re: Does anyone have a roomba? Good vacuum? - July 11th 2021, 03:07 PM

I don’t think a roomba or any of the smaller robot vacuums will work for hay because the canisters are smaller and they get clogged super easy. We have had a few of the Dyson vacuums and haven’t had any issues with clogging but never used it a lot on hay. I would recommend a shop vac. we have a wet/dry industrial stainless steel one and used it for cleaning up any hay that spilt outside and it never got clogged but you want to buy the larger (2.5”) hose. They tend to be cheaper as well and are handy to have around in case of any flooding or emergencies. They are louder than your typical vacuum which is something to be mindful about but they do a really good job at hay pick up.
