This is so great to hear. It's really nice that you reached out to her to congratulate her. I am sure that meant a lot to her and she's very grateful for it. It's also so great that you have the opportunity to learn and understand more in an open minded sort of way. I'm glad you feel good having done that! And great news that she's finally got her passport sorted. I hope this means positive things going forward.
