Re: For those who love taking notes, this is a great read! - January 29th 2021, 08:49 AM

I love pretty notebooks, too, Hollie. Providing the paper is of a decent gsm as Sarah said, if one's pen is smooth, then writing/note taking is going to be a great pleasure! This is why I love those Schneider Slider Rave XB ballpoints that use the ultra silky (black) Viscoglide ink! They are cheap and cheerful, but write a king's pen.

Once home, though, I'll write up my notes properly using my well loved Visconti Homo Sapien 'Bronze Age' fountain pen. Made out of volcanic lava it's such a joy to write with! It was a self-present, but Julie contributed to its high cost, and it's been my faithful writing companion ever since.

You just can't beat a good notebook containing gorgeous vellum and a good pen. And a nice cup of tea. Thinking of notebooks again, Paperblanks produce some of the most attractive notebooks, but at least their paper is lovely.
