Happy holidays from TeenHelp. - December 25th 2020, 10:47 AM

Hi everyone,

This has been a massively challenging year all around, between the pandemic, lockdowns and adjusting to a socially distant lifestyle, protests and injustice, it's tested us all to our limits.

Despite this, the strength and resilience in people around the globe has been evident as they’ve put their best foot forward to help maintain the health of themselves and others. First responders, healthcare workers, key workers and everyday people have persevered to show that we are all in this together and we can come out of this on the other end.

The power of community spirit has been ignited right across the world. More people than ever before have come forward to volunteer their time this year to help their neighbours and their communities with anything from keeping people fed, to supporting their mental health and wellbeing.

What this shows is that people, all people - when acting together for the good of others - have a unique strength to overcome challenges whatever they may be.

We may be physically apart right now, but we can still be connected, through telephone and virtual meet ups, to social media and websites, but most importantly through a shared sense of community, understanding and determination to get through what we're all currently experiencing in different ways.

We hope that this Christmas you can enjoy a sense of calm and quiet in your hearts and homes this holiday season. We’ve spent a lot of time at home these last few months and have learned to immerse ourselves in the comfort it can provide. The events happening outside of our homes are frightful, but we hope you can all continue working with what we have to make things a bit more delightful.

TeenHelp encompasses the perseverance and unity we need especially now, but always. We are honoured to support others and will continue to do so in the New Year. In the meantime, remember one thing: we’re in this together, taking one step at a time.

We wish you a safe, healthy and not forgetting merry Christmas and New Year. We will come out on the other side. The light at the end of the tunnel is already beginning to shine.

Rob and everyone at TeenHelp
