Re: It feels like COVID stole my education from me. - December 11th 2020, 10:45 PM

Covid stole my education, too, so I decided to pay for an online university education so I can get my Masters degree in English Literature (thank the good Lord for for spell check!), but I hope one day to be able to teach. Maybe teach, but we live in uncertain times and goodness knows how many like you@FFAFF are struggling right now at your university.

There is hope in the various Covid vaccination options currently in force. I hope you can get vaccinated despite the appalling obstackles you are having to endure.

I work full time as self-employed in Maman's small farm holding and know the difficulties of balancing what has got to be done, and then going to catch up on the next 5,000 word essay. It is hard indeed, but these Covid times are teaching us tenacity, determination and motivation.

Our world was never meant to be easy. Our lives, a struggle, But we will, eventually, win through. @Rivière , my sentiments also.

My ex-Mother had always warned of a pandemic, yet nobody believed her. We can thank Professor Sarah Gilbert who designed the Oxford vaccine who went by her instinct, who with others such as Prof Teresa Lambe, and Prof Gilbert for being the architects who are going to save lives, but for now we must put on a brave face and meet our brave new world.

@FFAFF I am so sorry you have to go through this nightmare. But I believe you are going to become stronger for it, and one day like me, come away with well earnt university degree.

My very best to you both
