Other times I can get 'contractions', for lack of a better word, around 1-2 weeks beforehand where I'll get a small pain but then it goes away in seconds. The closer the pains are to one another would tell me how soon my period is due to start. Sometimes I don't get any of that and I'll just feel more drained than usual or like I can't get going, but sometimes I confuse it with just being generally really tired so it can be hard to tell.

Other times it can be really awful. The first 1-2 days can be the worst. I'll start to feel like the life is being drained out of me, and then I'll get the pains. Sometimes I'll feel so drained that I'll feel like I'm about to collapse. On even worse occasions the pain is just so bad it makes me feel sick, and I can barely get up or move around because I just feel so light-headed and drained.
It's strange isn't it?

The only other symptom I get is that I actually sleep throughout the night before my period is due.
