It might be that time of year at the other place; you know how it is since you work in the hospitality business. Some times are busier than others. I know where I am, we have quiet seasons and busy seasons. Not sure if it's like that in Australia, but I imagine it would be.

I would wait until it quiets down again before speaking to the manager at the bar job and requesting your desired position.

They mentioned they were going to cross train me at my bartending position to the gaming attendant when I have learned the system and when everything has settled down due to the venue opening on Friday. To be honest, I just want to get out of childcare altogether. I personally believe I've outgrown it.
