I'm sorry to hear that you were almost raped. It sounds like a scary experience for you and keeping it to yourself may only make you feel worse.

Telling someone is a big step, and it's okay to feel nervous. It's entirely up to you who to tell, but I'm wondering why you don't want your parents to know? Telling a teacher, head of year, school counsellor, close relative or friend is a good idea as you will be able to get the support you need and deserve. You don't have to deal with this alone and whatever the reason that's behind not wanting your parents to find out shouldn't stop you from talking about the experience and getting help. And if talking is hard, you can always write it down or bring a supportive person along to help explain what happened.

Edit: Just saw your response above. It doesn't matter how you got into the situation, what matters is that someone tried to violate your boundaries. You can't control their behaviour, only they can.
