I couldn't get into this book. It was supposed to be a retelling but ... it seems pretty similar to the greek myths I learned about in college. I don't feel like reading through something that only has slight variations. The biggest difference seems to be that the writing is less complicated to understand. I guess that's where 'modern retelling' comes into play.
I already struggle with retellings so I am not going to spend time trying to get through it.
Here is what I'll be reading at some point in the next few days:
I am hoping to get this read before I start working so about a week. However, the chapters are a bit longer then I'd like and I have a lot of stuff coming up in the next few days. If I don't finish it will be a good book to take with me to read at my lunch break.
