Anxiety attacks vs panic attacks. - May 19th 2018, 10:57 PM

I wanted to do an article on panic attacks vs anxiety attacks since they're a bit different. I learned that they are different in therapy years ago but I figured writing about it would be cool. There is an article on panic attacks here and while I will discuss coping skills I will use different ones.

My summer classes start soon so I'm not sure when I will write this but I thought about doing an outline.

  • Introduction
  • Anxiety attack characteristics: they have a particular trigger and are often short-lived. They end when the trigger is eliminated.
  • Panic attack characteristics: They're unpredictable, may last longer (sometimes thirty minutes) and tend to have a lot of physical symptoms like heart racing, dizziness, and lightheadedness. Some people think they're having a heart attack or dying, and will often end up in the hospital due to the symptoms. Flight or fight mention maybe?
  • Coping skills.
  • Conclusion.

It'll be a relatively short article. Thoughts?

If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts
Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first
