Hey there and welcome I'm sorry you're s anxious about this. The only thing you can really do about a huge project is break it down into smaller pieces and chip away at it. If you don't want your mom to come to school, you could ask her not to. I don't think she means to embarrass you, she probably wants your birthday to be special and she doesn't realize that you don't want her to do it that way. If your friends make fun of you because of your mom, then they aren't real friends.
