Interesting article!

I have been guilty of accusing an ex they were cheating on me, and my ex was guilty of emotionally manipulating me. That said, while the behaviour is definitely abusive and no-one should tolerate that, the person who is being abusive probably needs help, if they don't realise it. I know now that I had low self-esteem and was very insecure from all sorts of things I had been through in the past. I honestly didn't think that anyone could like me, which only lead to suspiciousness and jealousy. It wasn't nice for my ex, and it wasn't nice for me either.

Overall, I think more needs to be done for both parties- more awareness of abusive behaviours and getting out of the relationship, as well as help for those whose behaviour is considered abusive.
