Re: The day time stood still. - October 3rd 2016, 09:46 PM

She sat watching the clock on her wall, waiting for the hands of the clock to move, the second hand to move, any of the hands to move. none of them moved. She looked at the clock on her phone watching it for a minuet, two minuets, three minuets, four minuets waiting and waiting for the numbers to change, wishing and willing the numbers to change. Nothing. 22:19. Was she going mad? Had she been zapped into some weird and strange place or world where theres actually no such thing as time or was she still in the same world but for some odd reason time had simply stopped? She blinked. And then blinked again. And once again. The clock still read 22:19. It had been ten minuets now. She ran through the possibilites in her head - batteries, power outage, probelm with her phone. But all the clocks reading the same time was not a coinsidence. There was more to it than that but what and how? Aliens? Some sort of magnetic pulse that was frozen time and destroyed all electronic devices? Was she actually awake was she lucid dreaming?
She couldn't be sure. No she was not dreaming, she was awake. She opened the curtains and looked out the window the street looked like it usually did. The streets lamps were on so it was not a power outage so that ruled that out pretty quick.
