Cheesy Love Poem (sorry) - September 12th 2016, 12:59 AM

This poem is actually titled "In Love With You, I Will Remain". It also sucks, that'll happen sometimes.

To be in love is to break your legs
Until no longer can you stand so tall.
But in love with you I will remain
Until I feel that small.

It pains me always, it hurts my heart
That what you feel is not this love for me.
And if pain and love are all I know
I do not know what else I could be.

But did I choose this for myself?
Is there rhyme or reason for this madness?
I would think not, but love is love
And this love is the reason for this sadness.

To be in love is to hurt yourself
But to never wish this pain on you.
So in love with you I will remain
Until it's that pain that runs me through.

It's an impossible game that I play
To want your love but not your pain.
But you could never love someone
Whose love for you drives them insane.

So don't fall in love, my love
For you just have far too much to lose.
Take it from me, and from my heart
That love will not love; it will bruise.

To be in love is to have some hope
That this love will not end in your fall.
So in love with you I will remain
Until I am nothing at all.
