-That 'Ugh' made me feel a bit used. No need to be dickish about it. Come on man.

-To my one-year-ago self.....
You're about to enter one of the craziest, happiest, most intense months of your life. Everything is a little bittersweet and a little perfect. You never expected to come to this country and fall smackbang headoverheels with someone - someone American! - but brace yourself: it's going to be full-on and it's going to be one of the biggest things that's happened to you so far, ever.
In a couple of days, an old acquaintance is going to pass away and it's going to be devastating. But you need to take on the message that he always gave: grab life and squeeze every last drop out of it. Let yourself fall into this whirlwind, even if it means saying goodbye will the hardest goodbye you've ever had to say. Don't think, just do it. Change your flights. (You can fly on your own: you don't now it now but you'll be doing it in November.) Stay with him. September's going to be a rough one because when you get back home, missing him is going to consume your nights and your days and for the first two weeks, all you'll be able to do is walk and walk, and write and write, and drown in your thoughts of him and it'll be pure gold shit.
Don't neglect the girls: they're here too. They're very understanding and they want the best for you. Trust R&H. If they talk it doesn't matter. Just live. <3

Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror, years ago
.....
I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door
