Apple products -

Next month, when I get paid, I'm going to go buy a new computer. I was thinking of getting an Apple computer, mac, whatever. But I know next to nothing about them.
Any suggestions, or things I might want to know?
Is Apple good or bad? Should I stick to Windows? I have an iPhone and I love it.
There is no beauty without some strangeness.
