Tampons aren't evil, seriously you should consider them at one point  I understand how hard they can be to get used to though and why you might not want to try them. Personally I probably wouldn't chance it. Hygiene wise, not too sure where it stands, but if you're light, it's probably not going to be noticeable. Good luck though!
