Usually when you go swimming you stop bleeding until you get out of the pool because of the water pressure. People just say wear a tampon because it is best because you never know when it is all suddenly going to come out, and also depending on how long you were in the pool, there could be a lot all at once. That's why tampons are said to be the best. If you're usually a light bleeder then it should be fine if you wear a few layers to stop it when it does come out, blacks a good idea. If you think you'll be fine, you're probably right but it's always good to just make sure. Getting a black towel to sit on once you get out might be good as well. Then if it gets bad they won't see it.
