LOL my ex was called Dan and my boyfriend now is also called Dan When I first started going out with him people always used to say "are you back together then?" nooo, wrong Dan -____-

I wouldn't be bothered if they had the same name as my dad. Like Craig just mentioned, you don't normally call your parents by their name.
