I think it would kind of bother me. I don't know. People's brains work in different ways. Even though my mom is generally just "Mom" to me, I still might find the connection a bit uncomfortable.
If they were SUPER AMAZING and really great and like, perfect as perfect can be, I doubt it'd stop me, but it would give me pause for sure.
Weirdly enough, but perhaps also relevant, my girlfriend shares a name with one of my exes, which is probably worse  And that doesn't really phase me at all.
