You could kindly point out to her that she said it will work itself out over the years and it hasn't yet. You could also remind her that your doctor was definitely concerned and you would like to go back to the your doctor to explore other options.  If your mom doesn't want you on birth control perhaps you can explain to her that you aren't interested in sexual activity assuming you aren't.
