--You don't have to be afraid to give me feedback, but you need to understand how I perceive it and why I've become that way. To understand that you have to care enough to find out and make me trust you enough to tell you.
Once you know that, you have to give it in a way that I can hear, (no threats about not belonging in the profession, or program and nothing about how I won't get a job in the field etc.)
And when you give me something negative, tell me how to fix it because chances are I don't know and give me something positive too because it feels unbalanced at times.
-- None of you are perfect, stop expecting me to be. And yes, I know you'll deny that that's what you want, but we know it's true and you aren't the first ones to do it to me I'm coping with it the only way I know how. Excuse me for being human.
