Agreed. It's problematic in it's own right that every topic involving a major incident in a public place turns into a gun debate. Especially when guns weren't involved. 
While my condolences go out, I have to agree with Dez, too. This happens far too often, and it's no longer as shocking as it used to be. I mean, many people I know remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when news of Columbine came through, but now it seems as much of a run-of-the-mill news story as anything else.
