I'm not sure how to respond to your request, but if this site means so much to you, can't you just make another account and add back your friends gradually so nobody is suspicious? If they have a rule about having only one account, it wouldn't be like you'd be the first one to break that rule. You could even sign up under a common fake name and I bet nobody could prove it otherwise unless they demand to see ID or something.

You could also use that time to ask for contact information in case you get banned again or if you decide to leave. I used to have one site I loved, but they banned me for the stupidest reason, so I said bye to my remaining friends from another account and left that poorly-managed site. Sometimes it's best to cut your losses and salvage what you can from those kinds of sites.
