I had a scary day yesterday, and it made me miss you. You were always such a comfort on the days where I had to do scary things. You'd hug me and look into my eyes and do that big smile and say something like 'Hey, hey, you'll be great,' and from anyone else it would have been horrifyingly patronising but from you it was all I ever needed and I loved it and I miss it so much. No one else understands me and my little anxious ways the way you do.
Honey, you're familiar, like my mirror, years ago ..... I slithered here from Eden just to sit outside your door ... ... Níl a shíltear mar a bhítear. Things are not always what they seem.
