Thank you for the reply Robin:
(I had saw a career and academic counselor at the College. I took a test that basically said I have no interests in less I try it out, experience my dislikes and likes.)
In my current Program (September-December) I dropped two courses and stayed in the other 4 and reduced my course load. Out of the 4 I only really liked two, but the one some aren't I disliked. For Janurary-April, I am in a Program that interests me to a certain degree. However, I am just doing it for the extra credits. I saw a program about bartending (which is more appealing because I can work and get a job fast with the certificate while in College) but the courses I am unsure if I will excel well at. I am going to e-mail Student Success Specialist about.
I can't seem to make up my mind. With the 15 week certificate program for bartendering I can make more in wages and tips.
In the long run I would like to have a career in writing. No, I haven't planned for a second option if I don't get into the program. But, if I switch into the bartending certificate program I can work and then improve my credits for that course.
Right now I hope my interview I did Friday morning landed me a position and she was very clear she is going to call me and stated I will start in January if I get the job. However, I based my timetable on when I can work and switching programs might reflect differently and I will change my hours to work... If I go for bartendering (which provides more opportunities and fast cash) then I may lose the job (I they hire me).
This is so confusing.
