Army strong (Poem) -

**Might be triggering, but I'm not sure.**
Long story about how this poem came to be, but it did. It was an improvised scene in my drama class and it was amazing. Everyone thought it was beautiful, and I loved it. So, here it is, but in poem form!

"It'll be okay."
She says,
As he wakes up screaming again.
"It'll be okay."
She says,
"I'll be here though thick and thin."
"Don't worry, dear."
She tells him.
"It's just a nightmare now."
"Don't worry, dear."
She tells him.
"You will pull though somehow."
"You're with me now, love."
She assures.
"You'll only kill with kindness."
"You're with me now, love."
She assures.
"You have moved past the darkness."
Her soothing words bring him back
To a happier state of mind.
He closes his eyes and drifts to sleep,
Putting the visions behind.....
BOOM
Clash, flash, boom, zoom
He's back once again.
To the land of guns and death and war
Where one side has to win.
He walks over to a man,
Laying on the ground.
He's alive but he's not moving,
Begging for mercy without making a sound.
He looks into his eyes,
The eyes of a true villain.
But is the villain the one who's dying,
or the one who's winning?
His finger pulls the trigger,
And as soon as it goes "boom."
He shoots his eyes back open,
And he's laying in his room.
"It'll be okay."
She says,
As he wakes up screaming again.
"It'll be okay."
She says,
"I'll be here through thick and thin."
