Who drops your boyfriend off at Ground Zero? There might be an opportunity to introduce yourself to his mother or grandmother when he's arriving or leaving.

Is he allowed to hang out with friends, male or female? If so, you might want to set up a group hangout. His grandmother might be under the impression that "something" will happen if he's hanging out one-on-one with a girl, but "nothing" will happen if he's surrounded by a number of Christian friends. I know it's not ideal, but it's better than nothing.

It sounds like his grandmother is the head of the household and makes the final decisions... or her adult daughter/your boyfriend's mother simply hasn't taken a strong enough stand in your favor. It may be a good idea to discuss the family dynamics further with your boyfriend (respectfully, of course). If you plan to be with him for a long period of time, then it's important to know how things work in his home. He may be able to encourage further discussion with his mother and grandmother, but if he isn't willing to "make waves" or further discussion isn't an option, then that's also good to know.
