If both of your parents are fine with it, I don't see that much of a problem with it.

I think my parents are actually the same way. My mom met my dad when she was 16, and since he's two years older, that would have made him 18. They married when she was 19.

The age of consent varies in different areas, too, sometimes it's 16, or sometimes even 17 or 18. There are also close in age laws in some states, meaning that if you're only a few years apart the relationship is still fine. If you want more information, you can go here.

But two years isn't a whole lot, so you should be okay.
