Relationships are about the people in them, not about what anatomical parts they possess. A relationship with someone of the same sex has the same foundation as a relationship with someone of the opposite: trust, respect, honesty, loyalty, whatever-else-fills-the-blank-for-you.

For me personally I experience differences between dating men and dating women, some of which is biological wiring and much of which is social conditioning. But even then, it's not "pros vs. cons." It's just different from the other, and each is absolutely wonderful.

So as long as someone makes you happy, it doesn't matter their sex. All that matters is that you feel like your best self when you are with them.
