I'm not going to Florida with you. I'm not going to live with Dad, either. You wanna go? Fine. I'm not going with. That is not an option and it never was an option.
If I wanna drop out, you're gonna sign where they tell you to. If I wanna pursue my GED afterward, you're gonna sign where they tell you to. If I wanna do online, you're gonna sign where they tell you to.
I am not an adult. I am not grown. But guess what? In 568 days, I will be. You have to stop making my decisions for me. I need to be able to make my own decisions. Now is the time for me to make mistakes, so I can fall back on you. If you wait until I'm 18 to stop controlling me, you're setting me up for failure.
Please, Mom, do what makes you happy. Go to Florida or Georgia or Panama City or wherever the fuck it is that you wanna go. I am only holding you back. Let. Me. Go.
