You're totally right that sometimes people struggle more during the night. I do, too. I totally agree with Jessie as to the reason as well. It's late at night, especially when nobody else is awake, and we have all the time to think about the day and life in general, whereas during the day we are kept really busy.

I try to write out what I am feeling at night so the thoughts aren't as pent up inside. Or, I'll listen to some nice music before bed so I can relax, or I'll put on a movie. Maybe you can try some relaxation techniques as well.
