I wish you understood my mind, mom. Why you can't talk to me the way you used to, why I am the way I am, and why I despise you almost all the time. Why can't you be the loving mom I always see in movies or on TV shows? Why do you have to always take your anger out on me? Can't you just understand I want you to love me?
