Storm Wars (parallel poem) -

a dark cloud descends a nightmare invades upon the silent valley as the battle rages thunder rolls overhead a loud boom is heard lightning glows brilliantly a bright light fills the sky the skies open up dark grey clouds loom overhead the rain pours down as soldiers trudge through mud everything gets drenched and equipment grows heavy the storm blows out of control lives are lost as fighting continues the rain subsides the fighting comes to a standstill as the clouds roll out the sky overhead brightens the sun shines through the battle is over

Butterfly, don't fly away on me yet
