Re: Questions about my Period - March 21st 2013, 01:30 AM

As Katie said, it is normal for your periods to start out irregular. I know that mine were the same way. I got my period at the age of eleven and went on birth control to regulate it at around fifteen or sixteen, so know that if it does stay irregular you can speak to your doctor about ways of regulating it. You can even call him or her now if you are worried about it, but I think that it is normal for your periods to be irregular. One thing you can do to keep track of it is to keep a record of when your period starts on your calendar. That way you can keep track of if it comes early, late, or normal and see if it is starting to regulate a bit. From there if you have any concerns you can definitely speak to your doctor, but I think you're normal for just getting your period.
