Re: Silly Bans - February 22nd 2013, 10:12 AM

I ban you because let me tell you my story tonight .

I have diagnosed myself with Entomophobia.......... the fear or hatred of bugs. Tonight, I am home alone, my parents are at a wedding and I am working on a new script....... so I get my laptop and start. My room starts getting a little too hot to my liking, so I went downstairs to my study, it's cooler down there. What do I hear? A cricket. INSIDE the home. I checked the sound direction thinking "no, this can't be" but YES, a cricket indoors.

I started walking down the hall to the study and the sound just becomes too much. I get out of there post haste. A constant ringing, SO annoying but it doesn't end there. I then thought to myself, "you know what, no cricket's gonna haunt me", so I go downstairs, to face the sound, I can drown it out, I have headphones, no worries......... I slowly walk towards the study. Step by step, the screeching sound following me. Anxiety was starting to build, just hearing the sound in my ear, SO close.

In my mind, I was thinking, I read an article after I discovered it, how to catch a cricket in your home and I thought of the line "turn on a light in a previously darkened room and it may be out in the open". I turn on the light to the study, to make my way in and then NIGHTMARE!

Out in the open.
A massive ass cockroach .

I FLY out of there, up the stairs, not even turning off the light, just blazing upstairs. I am now locked upstairs, the energy is guzzling, from the lightbulb, I REALLY want to get a drink of milk or juice, I am hungry and I am terrorized right now....... so terrorized, I am using the American version of the word TERRORISED! .

Help .
