Friend and Ex dating
 

Okay. So, i want to know people's opinion on this issue.
It's been about three months since i broke up with my ex (that i dated for a year), and all who've been through relationships probably more or less know how THAT feels.I'm definitely still through the healing phase, but I'm coping with it.Well, about two months after we broke up (it wasn't even two months, more like 6 weeks later), I find out from my 'friend' that she likes my ex, and texted ME if it was okay to go out with him....So, that's how all that started.My ex, ever since we broke up, sees me as his 'li'l sister' and labels me as his 'best friend.' (I don't acknowledge that and made it clear to him, but he's persistent; i just let him do what he wants and don't concern myself with him as much.) Still, he doesn't even tell ME, who says i'm his 'best friend,' a damn thing (which i'm partly used to since he NEVER told me things like that shit). Of course, he knew i found out later about it. (He had said he thought i wouldn't be ok with it, which i wasn't of course, but i still said the same thing i said to my 'friend'.) Still, at that time i was pretty much in depression-mode, and doing stupid stuff like cutting again.Besides that, I still told my 'friend' that i supported them 'one hundred percent.' Yeah, i'm like that.Well, to make that long story short, since i'm still in the healing process, i want to know people's opinion on this:

Is it okay for a 'friend' to go out with the friend's ex?

In my opinion, i'm pretty pissed about it, but i put up a good front and try to keep a calm demeanor about them.I don't have a 'rule' in my mind like 'you should never date your friend's ex' though. So, what is your opinion on this matter? Is it okay to date a friend's ex, or not?
(i would like to know both gender's opinion on this, please!)

Ah the old stop and swap, i have seen this probably four to five times in my high school experience. They sting. I was involved in one and it sucked ass. Your best bet is to ditch them and let them be their happy dandy little couple. Go have fun, find other friends. mix it up a little bit. You were definitely betrayed and lied to, but that shows that those two people just care about themselves and their longing to be together. Call her a fucking slut and call him a douch bag and move on with it.
