I am interested in an insanely attractive guy at my school, what should I do? - February 11th 2017, 05:06 PM

I feel a bit silly for wondering about this, but anyway...

There is a guy at my school who I have always secretly been interested in, ever since I noticed him three months ago, and I have always wanted to approach him in some way.
However, the thing here is... he is very, very attractive.
He is probably about 6'4 tall, great-looking body, broad shoulders, amazingly beautiful eyes, beautiful lips, and an irresistible smile.
He takes my breath away almost every time I see him, that's how attractive he is.
I have never seen a guy even close as good-looking as him in my entire life, seriously, so I have no idea how to act around him.
I have tried making eye contact with him myself several times, but I can only hold his gaze for about one second before I become too shy and look away - and also, there is often some other girl talking to him when I do see him.
I really want to make contact with him, but I am terribly shy of him.
But I also realize that he will most likely be taken by another girl at any moment, if he isn't already taken.
Do you know what I could do that isn't too scary, even if I am really shy?
I have been thinking of trying to invite him to watch a movie with me some day, but maybe that's too much too quickly.

Hi there!

Welcome to TeenHelp!

It's always scary approaching someone who you are interested in. Are you two in the same class? Maybe you can ask him for help with a class? Then that way you can get his number possibly. Another thing you can do, if you have Facebook you can add him on there and then you can start a conversation with him on there.

Those are really the only suggestions I can think of. I hope one of them work for you!

Oh, thank you, I will try to add him somewhere if I manage to find him. ^_^

What would be a good thing to write to him in the beginning, by the way?
I don't want to screw that part up, lol.

Usually I start with a normal conversation like 'hey, how are you' then maybe talk about interests.
