Hi I'm Cassidy I'm 17 and just turned it in December. My boyfriend on the other hand is 15 and is turning 16 next month. Is it illegal for us to have sexual relations? :wub:

I did a quick google search to find out that the age of consent in your state is 17. You would be fine having sex with someone your age or older, but it might be considered statutory rape if you had sex with him at the age of 15. I'm not 100% sure on the laws in your state but you should probably research this before you partake in anything sexual. Or just wait until he's 17, too.

I think teenage sex really depends on how you see it. Even if your parents will tell you that you should not do it but they can't really control your relationship with one another. Just remember that waiting for the right time can make your relationship more meaningful.

Well in your state the age of consent is 17, however, the statutory rape laws in your state only apply to those 21 or older who have sex with someone younger than 17 years of age. In short, legally, you two should be alright to have sex. But do keep in mind both of your being sure you are ready before having sex together.
